Something borrowed, something pink?

Since 5th December 2005 it has been legal in the UK to enter into Civil Partnerships which are legal relationships for same-sex couples aged 16 and over.  It gives lesbian and gay couples the same legal benefits as heterosexual married couples.

So, once you announce “We’re getting married!” don’t get too caught up in your excitement but step back a bit and consider how your wedding will work – what are the rules – and are there any?

The good news is that common sense and good old-fashioned etiquette still rule the roost and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!

Setting the scene means setting the mood.  Good lighting and décor can lift any venue and turn the ordinary into fabulous, the small into spacious and the sombre into celebratory.

Recently Party Lights transformed the Grand Hotel in Torquay into a sparkling venue for Barry & Luke to celebrate their union and they told us “we asked for sparkle and we certainly got sparkle, what a transformation!”
