These terms do not affect your statutory rights and are in addition to The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (CCR) requirements.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Item/s
Here at Party Lights, we endeavour to ensure that the lights you receive are in perfect working condition. Sometimes accidents do happen though so we apologise if any of the item(s) you have received are faulty, damaged or incorrect. Please notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods if you have any problems and we will rectify this with as little inconvenience to you as possible.
It’s not a problem if you change your mind about your purchase, as long as you are a consumer and not a business customer, you are well within your rights to cancel either all or part of your order and return the products to us. Please let us know that you intend to return the products within 14 days of receiving your order (as is stated in the Consumer Rights Directive). You then must return the products to us within 14 days.
Both the return costs and the goods themselves while in transit are your responsibility and therefore any loss or damage while in transit shall be disputed by you with your courier service or borne by you. We would always therefore recommend using a tracked service when you return any products. Once the products have been returned to us, we will refund both the cost of the product, as well as the original standard delivery cost at time of order, (even if a priority service was paid for at the time of order).
The goods must be in unused, perfect, complete and re-saleable condition. This also applies to the product packaging, labels and instructions. We may not issue a full refund if the products are damaged or used in order to cover the cost incurred by this.
If the product is returned incomplete, we will not refund you. You will be held responsible for any other charges incurred in connection with your order, for example, delivery charges etc.
Provided the products are returned in the correct condition, a refund/exchange will be actioned by Partylights.co.uk within 14 days of receipt of the goods. Please note we do not refund the postage paid to return the items to us.
Items Lost When Returning
Partylights.co.uk are not accountable for any item/s lost whilst they are being returned. You are responsible for the item/s until they reach us. For your own protection, we suggest using a secure, tracked postal service which requires a signature upon delivery.
Refunds & Replacements
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Item/s – A refund or a product replacement will be processed as soon as possible once we have been advised of the problem. Please note that we may ask for photographic evidence of the fault, damage or incorrect items in relevant cases.
Unwanted items – Your refund will be processed within 14 working days from the day after that we receive the goods back into our warehouse.
All refunds will be credited to the card account used for the original purchase.
Any exchanges or replacement items required against a return will not be sent out until we receive the original goods back. A request to exchange items may result in an additional delivery charge.
If you require a replacement item as a matter of urgency, a further order can be placed as normal online or by telephone (usual delivery charges apply).
Any items produced or modified to your specification, are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
